La visibilización cultural y social se ve afectada por la marginalidad de San Basilio de Palenque frente a otros territorios del país, produciendo un olvido colectivo causado por el abandono estatal y que se materializa en la carencia de infraestructuras que permitan dar solución a necesidades básicas frente a espacios para el desarrollo y preservación de actividades y tradiciones ancestrales.

The project is based on the children’s conception of the city. The way in which it, despite having many vital components such as squares, streets, and blocks, it’s not seen this way through the child’s eyes, but rather understood via the association of places with specific activities. Spaces that are transformed and that are synonym with freedom at the same time that they are multifunctional.
